Submission Guidelines:
Who is eligible:
Open to all current UIndy undergraduate students enrolled in Art & Design Courses (majors, minors, electives).
Type of Work Eligible:
Only work completed during your UIndy college experience is allowed. Work completed outside of a UIndy Art & Design course is allowed. If submitting work created outside of a UIndy Art & Design course, you must meet with the area faculty for review and approval before completing this type of submission. Work completed in high school or at other institutions is not permitted.
Work that has been previous published in the Oracle is not allowed. However, work previously declined can be resubmitted.
Illustration/ comics: Images should tell a story, convey a message, or sell an idea and can be created with digital and/or physical materials. (Work can be 2D, 3D, Photography, digital, and traditional)
Graphic Design: Images should tell a story, convey a message, or sell an idea/product. (Work can be typography, logos, posters, advertisements
We will not publish content that contains:
Sexually explicit Content
Hate Speech
Ai
All work must be original with no use of Ai in any part of the process while creating. Work that includes clear copyright infringement will be rejected. No incomplete or late submissions will be accepted
We reserve the right to reject any pieces that do not follow the submission guidelines.
All rights of submitted artwork remain with the artist, but the University and Department of Art & Design has the right to share student works in promotional and representative materials.
